Our environment is important to us
Award for sustainable management
In 2012, we again participated in the project for revalidation. There is a photovoltaic system extending over 2000sqm on the roofs of our storehouses. This system produces, on average, 286.000 kWh of electricity a year which is sufficient for 72 four-person households. We’re saving 155 tons of CO2 every year.
Our vehicle fleet is up to date
All transports are accomplished with our environmentally friendly vehicle fleet. Almost all trucks comply with the EURO 6 norm, the rest with the EURO 5 norm. Greenhouse gases are thereby reduced in all relocations in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region and also the long-distance transports. All our cars are environmentally friendly, too.
Climate-neutral printing
Our emissions are compensated for by investing in sustainable climate action projects compliant with the “Gold Standard” suggested by WWF. The compensation works with emission certificates of climate projects. These are proven to economize CO2 emissions and comply with certified international standards.
